“I think beauty can be tricky. We obviously tend to think of beauty as a physical feature, but I think it’s a lot deeper than that. There’s many aspects to beauty, so it’s important to take care of them all, including physical, mental, spiritual and social beauty.”

“I think male beauty means having a “healthy mind in a healthy body”, as the Romans said. You have to take care of your body, regardless of whether you are a man or woman, whether it’s male or female beauty, everyone should take care of themselves.”

Niccolò Mannion was born in Siena on March 14, 2001. Shortly afterwards, his family moved to the United States, and Niccolò began to take his first steps in basketball on American soil. In 2015, he attended Pinnacle High School, where he scored incredible numbers, averaging more than 30 points per game. This performance was practically equalled in his first and only year of college spent at the Arizona Wildcats. At the end of the 2019-2020 season, he declared himself eligible for the 2020 NBA Draft. He was then selected by his idol Steph Curry’s team, the Golden State Warriors. In the NBA, he played thirty games, scoring a career-high 19 points against the Sacramento Kings, before returning to Europe, specifically Italy. He played for Virtus Bologna for two years, during which he won two Italian Super Cups and one EuroCup. He also had the opportunity to debut in the Euroleague. The experience continued this season with Baskonia, after which he signed a deal with Varese in December 2023. Despite his young age, Mannion has been a long-time member of the Italian national team and made his debut at the age of 17, making him the fourth youngest debutant in the team’s history.
